@tnuffdawg Totally agreed. I am really ashamed to call myself a Redlands Alum after things like this get posted. I just graduated and already I want to hide my soon-to-be-useless Computer Science degree. No wonder Redlands is hurting for money. Prospective students see this garbage on UoR's site and head for the hills. I don't blame them.

... this is so hard to watch ... its well produced ... but this would truly scare me the hell away from the school if I was going through the process of choosing again. The greatest thing about Redlands is the community -- if you're trying to sell the place, student testimonials are the way to go - not some gingle about buildings, rocks, the feast of lights and other things that a potential-student would fail to comprehend from a video like this.

this video was very entertaining and it makes me want to go for a live tour of the campus. anybody who says differently are CRAZY.

@bgg2012 @bgg2012 false. this video is abrasive, could be taken offensively, and features the president dancing instead of working on the serious finacial crisis the school is experiencing. i love my school, but this is detrimental to it's reputation.

I am an alumni, but if I saw this before attending, I would never go to the U of R. I love everything about Redlands, but I sincerely hope this is not going to be used as a recruiting tool. Mother of God, this video makes me want to hide my diploma. Seriously damages credibility as a prestigious institution. Again, mother of God. Rant concluded.

The video is supposed to be taken as tongue-in-cheek, light-hearted entertainment. It's informative, humorous, and presents the school well to someone who's never been. No need to be unkind.

2 things. First, at 1:30 the cheesiness of this rap kills the lady. Second you should get the permission of all of us students before posting stupid stuff like this, this video represents all of us. Take it off.
