my auntie informed me that some companies will sponsor you to go to university to study certain things- then I think they encourage you to work for them after university. so if you wanted to study a really valuable subject for one company they could sponsor you. I don't know all the details though :)

@Lemontree23 something like £3,500, surprisingly cheap if you ask me! i thought it was like £100,000 odd haha, but you just need very good grades and some kind of an advantage over others

@HockeyPlayer58 not sure what you mean by SAT testing...unless you mean SATS which you do in year 6 when you are 11 and are completely useless. I thought SAT was a american thing? Anyhow you do A levels when you are 18 people do about 3-5. That's all I know I'm afraid. And I won't say being a foreigner puts you at any disadvantage at all!

Just think this university is more older than America. The best thing about Oxford is that anyone can go if you make the grades. A friend of mine who was brought up by a single parent went to a comp. school yet he got funding to go to Oxford, he is doing to degrees. When Americans go on about Yale/Harvard being the best, yes their are good but only coked up rich preppy go to keep up the family tradtion look at Bush thick as fuck. Also US is 2yrs behind in europe education.

I know (I hope) I can make it to those oxford, MIT... university but there's one thing that afraids me.. I know nothing about SAT and A-level testing!! Do we have to do those test to be admit? Is it a negative point to be foreigner?? Nobody where I live in went into foreign school so it's really hard to find answers =(
